Dr. John Parsi
Dr. T. John Parsi, DDS, MBA, FAGD has been happily treating the wonderful people of San Antonio for over 16 years. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of General Dentistry which are dentists committed to lifelong learning and quality continuing education. He is also a member of the International College of Implantology and one of a handful of San Antonio dentists that is certified to administer IV sedation for painless wisdom teeth extractions and implant placement. After graduating from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a bachelor degree in Biology, Dr. Parsi advanced to the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston where he received his doctoral degree in dentistry. While in dental school, he received multiple scholarships and awards for his research in oral cancer and implantology from the UTDB-Houston and MD Anderson Cancer Research. In addition while a student, Dr. Parsi knew he wanted to work with children and thus worked with the top pediatric dentists at the renowned Texas Children’s Hospital.
Upon graduation, he began his practice in San Antonio as a family practitioner and continued his dental education by taking many hours on new methodology in dentistry. He had completed an additional year of preceptorship and advance training in oral implantology from UTHSC-Dental School in San Antonio. Being a great advocate of higher education to better serve the public he received his Masters in Business and Administration from University of Texas at San Antonio. He also has two years of additional training in orthodontics from the Clinical Foundation of Orthopedic and Orthodontic as well as Sport Dentistry. Dr. Parsi has spent many hours in advanced dentistry to make sure his patients get the best dental experience and care that they deserve. He is a member of Academy of General Dentistry as well as the Academy of Children Dentistry. In addition, he does extensive study and research in cancer related issues. He believes in helping the community and uses his passion for sports to raise money for children’s causes. He is an avid cyclist, a marathon runner and in martial arts.
